2025-2026 Trial Athlete Offer

*Please disregard any reference to September 8 / January 31 on your receipt details. This is simply the opening /closing for trial applications to be submitted.

This portal is for athletes wishing to trial during the Summer Season. You will only be able to nominate for a trial if your Centre makes available trial registrations via the Little Athletics Victoria online form.

The Trial Athlete offer is not for members that have had a paid registration in a previous season.

Important: Trial terms are at the discretion of the Centre of choice and can commence in September or October depending on the dates specific to your Centre.

The advertised dates on this form do not depict your trial date.

What is the Trial Athlete Offer?

The Little Athletics Victoria Summer Season is conducted between September/October 2025 - March 2026 (unless otherwise stated by the Centre).

You are encouraged to contact the Centre you are wishing to trial at, to clarify on their start / end date and any additional or specific instructions relating to trials at that Centre.

The Trial Athlete Offer is available to children:

• that have not previously registered as Competitive Members of any Little Athletics Member Association; and

• who are 5 years of age or older, and who are 16 years of age or younger at the end of the calendar year in which the summer season commences.

The conditions of the Trial Athlete Offer are:

• Trials are to be completed, commencing on a date agreed with by the host Centre under their terms;

• Trials are conducted free of charge;

• Events trialled will be determined by the host Centre;

• Trial Athletes may attend sanctioned Centre training activities by agreement with the host Centre during the term of the Trial Athlete Offer.

• Competition days participated in as a Trial Athlete can be claimed towards qualification for Region and State competition only if the individual has registered as a full financial LAVic Competitive Member in their correct age group by the closing day and time for entries for the competition.

• Trial Athletes are fully covered by the national insurance program entered into by Little Athletics Australia Ltd (‘LAA’) .

• A Trial Athlete can register as a full financial LAVic Competitive Member at any time.
