2024 NZ Road Relay Championships

Welcome to the Taupō Road Relay including the 47th NZ Road Relay Championships to be held at the Taupo Motorsport Park on Saturday 28 September 2024.

All teams will receive the following:

• Exclusive access to the Taupo Motorsport Park circuit to participate in their respective event.

• Entertainment (Live band, DJ and live leaderboard throughout the day).

• Souvenir team numbers for all team members to wear during the event.

• Allocation of a team garage next to the mixed zone to hang out for the day. Note: some portable furniture is permitted. See list to be provided.

• Medical cover for the event to take care of everyone’s health and safety.

Registrations Close - 5pm Friday 27 September. Entry fees increase as per the schedule below.

• Early - Until 31 July 2024

• Standard - 1 August to 6 September 2024

• Late - 7 September to 25 September 2024

• Super Late - 26 - 27 September 2024

Please note that the system only allows 15 minutes to complete each team entry. This can be difficult if you are entering a team of 7 members. We reccommend having all the team information (full name, gender, date of birth, email address, emergency contact name & number) for each team member ready to go before starting the registration process. If you are not able to complete the transaction in time, please contact outofstadia@athletics.org.nz for assistance.

NZ Championship Events

• To be eligible for the NZ Championship events, all team members must be registered members of an Athletics NZ club.

• All members must meet the age requirements for their event category

Social/Community/Corporate Event

• To enter the Social/Community/Corporate event you DO NOT need to be a member of a club

Athletics NZ AGM

• The Athletics NZ AGM is also happening at the Taupo Motorsport part at 5.30pm on Saturday 28 September (after the Road Relays have concluded).

• We would like a member of each club competing at Road Relays to attend the AGM too. To register for the AGM please click here.
