Porritt Classic 2025 Youth Pre-Meeting

Youth Pre-Meeting - prior to the Porritt Classic - 15 February 2025

This year we are holding a youth event for the 13+ aged athletes, targeting high school age athletes – you do not need to be a registered athlete with a club to compete. Competitors must be aged 13 to 18 on 31 December 2025.  This will be held prior to the Porritt Classic event from 11am till 1pm, with the Porritt Classic event starting at 2pm.

Athletes You Must Read This Before Entering

This Youth Pre-Meeting is run under Athletics NZ Rules.

When asked for your Club Name (listed as Team Name in form) you MUST enter it as it is shown on the attached list Club Codes & Names.

If you are an unregistered athlete please enter unattached for Club Name.

Additionally, there will be featured school events during the Porritt Classic event which require a separate entry (see website for information and link for these events).

11.00am            200m Hurdles   +  High Jump / Discus                           

11.30am            100m

12.00 pm           800m   +  Long Jump / Shot Put               

12.30 pm            200m         

NB: High Jump entry standards - Girls 1.35 / Boys 1.50

Maximum 3 events per athlete

Entry Fee of $20.00 must be paid online with either a credit card or visa/master debit card.  The $20.00 entry fee covers all events you choose to participate in.
