2026 LAVic Annual General Meeting

The 2026 AGM will be held at Western Grounds, Footscray on Saturday 25th July (and via zoom videoconference).

This portal will collect the necessary information to have your Centre attendance recorded in preparation for the Annual General Meeting.

Schedule

12.00pm - Doors open (stand up lunch on arrival) - Guest networking

12.15pm - Presentations from LAVic, Australian Athletics, Little Athletics Australia, Coles, DreamJar Marketing and more.

2.30pm - Registration Opens (Sign In) & Afternoon tea

3:00pm - Annual General Meeting Commences

4.30pm - AGM Concludes

Important: The management of Western Grounds advises that guests must depart the venue for the interim period between the AGM and LAVic Gala Dinner.

Registration Categories

Each registration category includes a reference & additional information can be sourced via the LAVic Constitution / Regulation 13 Section 2.

Important: In accordance with the LAVic Constitution, a maximum of two delegates from each Centre can vote on each general motion (4 in total); a maximum of one delegate per Centre can vote on Constitutional motions (1 in total). When registering delegates, Centres must indicate which delegate will vote on the Constitutional motions on behalf of the Centre. Life Governors & Observers are not afforded the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

• Centre -Appointed Delegates (Closed - 3.00pm Saturday 18th July)

Note: A maximum of 2 delegates can be appointed.

This entry can only be completed by the Affiliated Centre, using the @lavic.com.au Centre email.

Select member type:

• 'Affiliated Centres' and then

Product select:

• 'Centre Delegates - Appointed' option.

Rule 6.8 (a): Each Affiliated Centre shall advise the CEO at least seven days prior to any General Meeting who its Delegates will be.

Note: Changes to Centre delegates after submission of this application must be submitted in writing to the CEO (returningofficer@lavic.com.au) not less than 48 hours before the Annual General Meeting Rule - 6.8 (e) you will be required to complete a form 'Alternate Delegate' with the replacement delegates details.

• Centre Delegates - By Default (Opens 3.01pm Saturday 18th July & closes 3.00pm Friday 24th July)

This entry can only be completed by the Affiliated Centre, using the @lavic.com.au Centre email. Select member type: 'Affiliated Centres' and then the 'Centre Delegates - Appointed' option.

Rule 6.8 (d): If an Affiliated Centre fails to provide the required notification to the CEO, the president and secretary of the Affiliated Centre shall be deemed to be the Delegates. In order to accurate sign-in documentation & catering, it would be appreciated prior to the closing time and date above, to confirm the name appointed President/Secretary, and which season they are aligned too (25/26 or 26/27) and when requested provide evidence (AGM minutes) of their appointment.

Note: This will only display on closing of the 'Appointed Delegate' category.

• Observer or Life Governor - prior to 3.00pm Friday 24th July

If you have recently created a Gameday profile you will be able to login/reset your password with your registered email or those without a Gameday account in the new system will be required to 'sign up'.

Select member type 'New Participant' & provide your name and required registration details, you will then be required to select your product, either:

1. Observers - are a Region/Centre/Club representatives who are not Centre delegates.

2. Life Governors - are previously awarded Life Members of the Association.

A series of questions will require completing, to verify your attendance (in person / zoom) and your dietary (if attending).
