2026 LAVic Region / State Cross-Country Event Registration

Entry Fee:

$28.60 per athlete *

Processing fee of $1.10 is included in the advertised price for each member entered.

The entry fee covers entry into both the Region Carnival & State Championships.

Please login with your account profile (email) to register. This should be the same email for your financial registration in season 25/26, unless you have updated during the season.

Region qualifying details & venue:

Athletes are required to compete & complete the course at the Regional Venue in which their Centre is assigned to.

IMPORTANT - *As a condition of entry the athlete must qualify through competing and completing in the Regional qualifying round in order to qualify for the State Cross-County Championships.

Should this condition not be met there is no appeal process to compete at the State Championship event.

Distances:

Note: These are the optimal distances and may vary depending on the location & layout of the course.

Awards:

Individuals: Medals will be awarded to the first 3 competitors across the line* in each age group & gender category.

*Note: Multi-Class (para) placings, will be determined once baseline percentages have been calculated based on the athlete's performance result.

Team: Although an individual event, there is a team element. Team events will be conducted concurrently with the individual events & is based on the first 3 athletes from each Centre across the line will be awarded a team medal. Where a Centre has more than 3 participants in an event, each subsequent set of 3 athletes will constitute another team for that Centre. Under no circumstances can a team consist of 4 members.

Eligibility & Entry Requirements:

All 2025/26 financial registered competitive LAVic members from the Under 9 to Under 17 age groups are eligible to enter.
