2026 Senior Inter Provincial Champs Trials

2026 IPC Trials

Please see below for all trial dates and times please note that. Open & U21 Trials will be on Wednesday 1 April if coaches need a callback trial this will be communicated post the April 1 trial.

Trial fee: $10 per person. Any athletes with unpaid Harbour fees will be required to also pay these prior to trialling - you will be contacted by Harbour if you have any outstanding payments.
Trial Dates & Venues: 

Monday 30 March - Rangitoto College Gym 1 & 2

U17 Boys 5.00 PM - 7.00 PM

U19 Boys 7.30 PM - 9.30 PM

Tuesday 31 March - Rangitoto College Gym 1 & 2

U17 Girls 5.00 PM - 7.00 PM

U19 Girls 7.30 PM - 9.30 PM

Wednesday 1 April  - AUT Akoranga Gym 

(U17 & U19 Callback Trial/ Open & U21 Grade Trials)

U17 Girls & Boys - 4.30 PM - 6.00 PM

U19 Girls & Boys - 6.00 PM - 7.30 PM

Open/ U21 Mens & Womens - 7.30 PM - 9.00 PM

ALL PLAYERS MUST PLAY IN THEIR AGE GROUP UNLESS GIVEN DISPENSATION BASED OFF OF CERTAIN CRITERIA.

U17 - Can not be turning 17 years this year must have been U17 as of January 1st 2026.

U19 - Can not be turning 19 years this year must have been U19 as of January 1st 2026.

U21 - Can not be turning 21 years this year must have been U21 as of January 1st 2026.

IPC TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

• Venue: Akau Tangi Sports Centre, Wellington

• Dates: Friday 29th May - Monday 1st June, 2026 (Kings Birthday Weekend).

• Uniforms: We will have samples at trials for you to try on if you require a uniform - this is the same uniform used for Senior and Junior IPC in 2025. If you do not require a uniform this will be deducted from your fees.

• Accommodation: U17 & U19 Athletes will be staying at Rydges Airport Hotel Wellington. Open & U21 athletes will be required to make their own accommodation arrangements.

• Travel: All athletes upon selection will be required to book their own flights to and from Wellington. All open and U21 athletes will be required to organise their own transport at IPC. U17 & U19 athletes will have transport available as a part of their fees.

Cost: Please note costs could be subject to change based on funding & price increases of team entry, accommodation etc. (Flights not included) Approximation U17 & U19: $650 - $750. Open & U21: $250 - $375.

• Food: U17 & U19 athletes - We are looking at potential food options to provide for this year unlike previous years we you were responsible for your own food purchase. We will communicate to you whether we go ahead with this and incorporate this food cost in.
