2026 BNSW Sydney Blue Sox Academy

The Sydney Blue Sox & Baseball NSW are pleased to announce the Blue Sox Academy.

The Blue Sox Academy is a Sydney-wide youth development program designed to bridge the gap between grassroots baseball and advanced player pathways.

Launching in Term 2, 2026, the Academy will provide a structured weekly training for ages 9-14, focusing on technical skill development, baseball IQ and athletic foundations. The first term will run from the week of the 27th of April to the week of the 17th June, with sessions held from 6:00 pm–8:00 pm across three locations: Barden Ridge Oval (Monday nights), Castle Glen Reserve (Tuesday nights), and Golden Jubilee Field (Wednesday nights).

Delivered in collaboration with Baseball NSW, the program gives young athletes access to professional coaching, while still allowing them to balance club baseball, school and other sports.

Players will also receive an official Sydney Blue Sox Academy hat, shirt and hoodie as part of their participation.

Under 14 - players born between 01/09/2012 - 31/08/2013

Under 13 - players born between 01/09/2013 - 31/08/2014

Under 12 - players born between 01/09/2014 - 31/08/2017
