Country Club Meet, Wanaka

Aspiring Athletics Club in Wānaka look forward to hosting you at the Country Club Meet on Saturday 7th Feburary 2026 at the Wanaka Recreation Centre, 41 Sir Tim Wallis Drive.  Competition start time will be 10am. 

Participants: The meet is open to both social and competitive child athletes (typically aged 6-14) who are registered with an athletics club. Clubs from Dunedin, Alexandra, Cromwell, and Queenstown typically attend.

Events: Athletes are encouraged to take part in multiple track and field events to gain points.

Amenities: Food and coffee options, such as a sausage sizzle and coffee cart, are usually available on the day. 

Clubs are welcome to bring marquees/tents and Club banners and there is plenty of parking in the Recreation Centre carpark.
