Welcome to the Tackleworld Mackay 21st Cloughy ChallengePLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING:The Cloughy Challenge will take place between 16th-18th August 2024 and is the largest solo diving spearfishing competition in Queensland and we are inviting you to join the action!Come and spend the weekend in paradise, win some great prizes and meet some amazing people.&nbsp;To be eligible to dive, you must be a member of the Australian Underwater Federation. If you are not a member, please go via this <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="rich-text-link" href="https://auf.com.au/club-membership-page/">link</a> to complete your registration with your preferred club.When registering, please nominate one person at a time - complete that registration then prior to payment you will have the option to register another competitor.eg: Senior Registration is nominated for John Doe and he has a sub junior competing with him. John completes his registration in entirety and on the payment screen he will see an option to register another competitor. He will select this option and register the sub junior registration in its entirety. John will then either choose to register another participant OR he can choose to pay.Senior registrations are for 18 years and over. You must nominate a dive buddy (either a participant or non-participant) , who will be present with you whilst you are competing.Junior registrations are for 15, 16 and 17 year olds. These participants will receive a disclaimer to be signed by an adult (parent or legal guardian) who can make legal decisions and must nominate a dive buddy who is over the age of 18 (preferably a parent or guardian) and is a competent swimmer. The dive buddy can also be a competitor so long as they meet the competition rules and are registered. The dive buddy is for the purposes of safety only and cannot assist the diver compete in the competition.Sub junior registrations are for participants aged 14 and under. These participants must be registered by an adult (parent or legal guardian) who can make legal decisions and must nominate a dive buddy who is over the age of 18 (preferably a parent or legal guardian) and is a competent swimmer. The dive buddy can also be a competitor so long as they meet the competition rules and are registered. The dive buddy can assist the sub-junior with their competition needs (such as loading guns and dispatching their catch), however, they cannot shoot the fish for the competitor.Anyone that is acting as a buddy for a competitor that is not their parent or legal guardian must have a volunteer blue card. Registration for participants 14 years and younger. Sub juniors must nominate an adult over the age of 18 to be their dive buddy who is a competent swimmer and is willing to accept the risk associated with the competition on behalf of the competitor.

Sub Junior Registration

Participants aged 17 and under to complete this registration form. Must nominate a buddy diver that is a competent swimmer 18 and over. If the buddy diver is not a parent, they must hold a volunteer blue card.
