2024-25 State Track & Field Championships - Athlete Event Scratching Form

This portal is applicable to confirmed 'progressed' athletes from the 2024-25 Coles Regional Track and Field Carnivals into the State Track & Field Championships which are scheduled to be held at the

Casey Fields Regional Athletics Centre, 160 Berwick Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East VIC 3977

on Saturday 8th / Sunday 9th March 2025

The application must be completed by a parent / guardian of an athlete using the member account email you would have used to register for the Region event and most likely registered with for their membership this season.

State Championships scratching's close - 11.00am - Wednesday 26th February 2025. A final list of Qualifiers will be posted on the event page prior to 5pm Thursday 27/2/25.

Once the scratching has been submitted, the scratched athlete cannot be reinstated (in the selected events) this will allow the next progression to advance to the State Championships (if applicable)

Example of scratching scenario:

Example 1 - Sophie was successful in progressing into the State Championships in the 100m, 200m, 400m, LJ and Shot Put - due to family commitments he can no longer compete in the 200m and Shot Put. Her parent/guardian will submit a scratching for 2 events in her age group, nominating the 200m and Shot Put. The final list of events will be updated after the close of scratching's to list Sophie for only the 100m, 400m and Long Jump.

Example 2 - Ben was successful in progressing into the State Championships in the 100m, 200m, 400m, LJ and Shot Put - he can longer compete on the weekend and needs to scratch in all 5 events. His parent/guardian will submit a scratching for the 100m, 200m, 400m, LJ & Shot Put. The final list of events will be updated after the close of scratching's to remove Max in all events.

Any further scratching's after the closing time and date (11.00am - Wednesday 26th February) will need to be provided to your Centre or Team Manager, prior to the event. Please note no further athletes can be progressed as a result of scratching's received by LAVic after 11am - Wednesday 26th February 2025.
