2026/27 Community Officials

Community Officials programs are designed to introduce parents, volunteers, and emerging officials to officiating roles within Little Athletics, using practical, Centre-focused learning experiences.

Whether a short session on the basics of assisting and officiating at Centre level, or an expo day where you can bring along your questions and working documents, Community Officials programs aim to build confidence, promote consistency, and support safe and effective competition delivery.

Sessions are practical in nature, with an emphasis on real-world Centre application.

BYO refreshments.

Dates, Locations, and Durations:

• Sun 20th Sept: Expo at Diamond Valley (10am-12noon)

• Sun 18th Oct: Community Officials: Racewalks + On Track Training for Facilitators at Bendigo (TBC)

• Sun 18th Oct: Community Officials at Swan Hill (10am-12noon)

Cost: Free for participants

Registrations Close: The Wednesday immediately preceding each session 11.59am, unless capacity reached prior (please note that once full, or closed, a session will be automatically removed from selection).

Important: All applicants will be emailed a PDF receipt upon completion of the registration, for your records.

Additional information will be distributed via email to registrants in the days leading up to the program.
