What is the Trial Athlete Offer?The Little Athletics Victoria&nbsp;Summer Season is conducted between September/October 2026 - March 2027The Trial Athlete offer is not for members that have had a paid registration in a previous season.Trial Details: Geelong Little Athletics CentreCome &amp; Try Day: 19th September (9.30am check in for 10am - 12noon)Competition trial dates: 10/10/26-7/11/26 (Saturdays 8am)Total Number of trials: 2 comp daysThe Trial Athlete Offer is available to children:<ul><li>that have not previously registered as Competitive Members of any Little Athletics Member Association; and</li><li>who are 5 years of age or older, and who are 16 years of age or younger at the end of the calendar year in which the summer season commences.</li></ul>The conditions of the Trial Athlete Offer are:<ul><li>Trials are to be completed, commencing on a date agreed with by the host Centre under their terms;</li><li>Trials are conducted free of charge;</li><li>Events trialed will be determined by the host Centre;</li><li>Trial Athletes may attend sanctioned Centre training activities by agreement with the host Centre during the term of the Trial Athlete Offer.</li><li>Competition days participated in as a Trial Athlete can be claimed towards qualification for Region and State competition only if the individual has registered as a full financial LAVic Competitive Member in their correct age group by the closing day and time for entries for the competition.</li><li>Trial Athletes are fully covered by the national insurance program entered into by Little Athletics Australia Ltd (‘LAA’) .</li><li>A Trial Athlete can register as a full financial LAVic Competitive Member at any time.</li></ul>Further information:<ul><li>To determine your child's correct age group for the new 26/27 season, view the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://lavic.com.au/membership/new-member/age-calculator/">‘Age Group Table'</a></li><li>An editable Trial Patch , is available for downloading in a receipt issued at the end of this form, if you are able to please add your child's details and print the patch ready for their first trial. This patch must be worn during your trial to assist the Centre in identifying trial athletes.</li></ul>
