AAI 2026 Grand Prix Series

All athletes must familiarise themselves with these rules before submitting their entry. 


Entry Information

This registration form will enter you into all 5 of the Grand Prix races for a discounted entry fee.  You will not need to enter each race individually.

If you are doing individual event entries, you must enter each event separately.  These entry forms will be online approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the race and will close at 11.59pm on the Wednesday prior.  Please note that unregistered athletes cannot enter the Auckland Cross Country or Road Championships.

Grand Prix 1

Grand Prix 4 incorporating the Athletics Auckland Cross Country Championships

Athlete Eligibility:
Athletes must be registered with a club for the current 2026-2027 season to enter the series.
If you are an unregistered athlete and wish to compete, you must enter via the individual event entry form which will be online 1-2 weeks prior to each race. 
Unregistered athletes cannot enter the Auckland Cross Country or Road Championships.


Grades:
The following grades will be used for the 2026-2027 season:

*Age as at 31st December 2026
U8: athletes aged 7
U10: athletes aged 8 & 9
U12: athletes aged 10 & 11
U14: athletes aged 12 & 13
U16: athletes aged 14 & 15
U18: athletes aged 16 & 17
U20: athletes aged 18 & 19
Senior athletes: aged 20 – 34

*Age as at 9th May 2026 
Masters athletes: aged 35 & over
Masters 5-year age groups based on date of first Grand Prix race

Entries close at 11.59pm Wednesday 6th May 2026.  


Refunds:
Athletics Auckland has a no refund policy.


All entries are subject to approval by the Athletics Auckland Cross Country & Road Committee.
