Cape Egmont Virtual Half Marathon 2025

RACE INFORMATION/TERMS & CONDITIONS

1- Virtual event date – You can run/walk anytime, anywhere, even on a treadmill between the dates of the 1st of July 12.00 am 2025 to the 31st of July 12.00 pm midnight 2025.

2- How to enter – All entries are online via a link from our website capeegmonthalf.com There are no paper entries.

3- Uploading your results – Use Strava, Map My Run or Fit Bit to record your time when completing your event.  Then upload this via a link on our website. Or alternatively - email us a screenshot of your result and we will enter it at our end. You can click on the live results list tab to view other competitors results. We will also upload the current leaderboard on our Facebook and website each week. 

4- You can enter more than one event - but you will need to complete a separate online registration and fee for each one.

5- You can have multiple goes at beating your time within the event dates. But only for the distance you have entered and paid for.

6- Eligibility - Children = Twelve or under, to participate they must be accompanied by an adult that has paid for an entry in one of the events.

7- Entry Fee’s –

• Children 5 km = $10 and 10 km = $15.00

• Children Half Marathon = $25.00

• Adult 5 km = $20 and 10 km = $30.00

• Adult Half Marathon $40.00

8- Social distancing = All competitors must abide by government social distancing guidelines relevant at the time they choose to run or walk.  This is to keep everyone safe.

9- Safety - Please make sure that you inform a friend or family member before you head out for your run/walk.   So they can make sure you get safely home.

10- There are no race bibs for this event

11- Medals – All competitors will receive a medal for completing and successfully uploading their time for their given distance.   Only one medal per competitor even if you enter multiple events.  Entrants who live in Taranaki will be able to pick their medal up- date & time to be advised. Entrants who live outside of Taranaki will have their medal posted to them.

12- A child - being twelve years or under, must be accompanied by an adult at all times when participating in one of the event options. This adult must also have paid for an entry. This adult is solely responsible for the child's safety.
