High Jump Conference Registration

Due to an incredible show of interest, Athletics New Zealand is pleased to announce that the Inaugural High Performance High Jump Conference hosted in Christchurch in December has been confirmed. 

This is an incredible opportunity not to be missed!!! This 2.5-day conference includes a stellar line-up of presenters including Australian Coaches Alex Stewart and Matt Horsnell plus a multitude of ANZ and HPSNZ service providers that help impact the success of our High-Performance athletes.  You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge in a range of different areas. These include technical concepts and implementation, session programming, specific strength and conditioning development, physical/mental/nutritional support and the science behind what they are critical to High Performance, competition planning, plus many more areas of what makes up a successful high-performance campaign.

On here, you will see at times there are two different sessions running concurrently.  One is a HP Performance Stream and the other one is the Development Stream. You will have the opportunity to select the stream that suits your needs once registered.

Priority will be given to those who have already sent through their Expression of Interest, and a discounted rate for those who sign-up prior to the 30th of October.  This event will be promoted internationally so please make sure you jump on this early and secure your registration as spaces are limited.

Start/finish times:

The conference will commence at 11am on Monday the 11th of December (day after NZSSAA) and will wrap up on Wednesday the 13th at 2.30pm. The sessions will be held at the Nga Puna Wai and the Apollo High Performance Centre in Jelly Park. 

Costs to attend 2.5-day conference: 

$200 for ANZ accredited coaches/registered club athletes (if paid before 30th of October - $250 then after) 

$250 for non-accredited coaches/non-registered club athletes (If paid before 30th of October - $300 then after)

Daily rates: $85 (Accredited coach/club athlete) $110 (non-accredited coach/club athlete)

Logistics:

You will be responsible for your own transport and accommodation for the duration of the conference (we can give recommendations for accommodation if needed).
