Discus Coaching Clinic at Lismore (U11-17)

This Little Athletics NSW Discus Coaching Clinic is for children in the Under 11 to Under 17 age groups for the 2023/24 Little Athletics season (Born 2007-2013).

During the session, the athletes will receive instruction in the fundamentals of the discus throw. This will include an overview of standing throw fundamentals, transitioning to the rotational throw.

The details of the session are:

Date: Wednesday, 17 July 2024

Time: 11.30am - 1.00pm (Arrival 11.20am for check-in).

Where: Riverview Park, Union Street, South Lismore

Who: Children in the Under 11 to Under 17 age groups for the 2023/24 Little Athletics season (i.e. born 2007- 2013).

Coach: Darren Wensor, Little Athletics NSW Regional Development Officer, Level 4 coach, 35 years coaching experience

Cost: $15.00

Closing: Tuesday, 16 July 2024 at 12.00pm  (unless maximum numbers are reached earlier).

Members from any Little Athletics centre are welcome to register for this coaching clinic. Non-members are also welcome.

Parents are encouraged to get up close to the action to listen and learn.

Refund Policy: There will be a $5 admin fee for withdrawal before the closing date. There will be no refund after the closing date unless participants are required to withdraw from the event due to illness or required to self-isolate for COVID-related reasons. Other extenuating circumstances may be considered on an individual basis.
