We’re thrilled to bring you a 12‑hour community endurance event designed for absolutely everyone — whether you’re curious about ultra‑distance challenges or simply want to enjoy a full day of movement at your own pace.
If you’ve ever looked at ultra events and thought, “I’d love to try that, but I’d be too slow,” this is the perfect place to start. No pressure, no cut‑offs, no stress — just a supportive environment where you can take on a challenge your way.
Join us at 7:30am on Sunday, 26th September 2027 for an unforgettable adventure. The course is a friendly 4.2km loop, made up of half cycleway and half bush track. It’s clearly signposted, easy to follow, and typically takes:
20–30 minutes at a run
40–50 minutes at a relaxed walk
Take as long as you like. There are no time limits and you can complete as many loops as you choose.
The event runs from 7:30am to 7:30pm, finishing as dusk settles in. You’re welcome to start and finish at any point during the day — simply sign in when you arrive, and check out at the registration tent when you’re done. You’ll receive one of our custom Henderson Shuffle medals to celebrate your achievement.
While participants must be self‑sufficient, we’ll have a few comforts available:
A coffee cart will keep you fuelled throughout the day with coffee, amazing toasted sandwiches and home made slices.
The local Scout crew will have a BBQ running for most of the day as well as baking, cold drinks and water.
A gazebo at the start/finish with a basic first aid kit
Nearby toilets and a water fountain
Arrive early and set up your own small tent or base area — just remember to leave the park exactly as you found it and take all rubbish home.
Due to narrow trail sections and stairs, the course is not suitable for pushchairs, and bicycles are not permitted in the bush. Children are welcome to run or walk with you, provided they are officially entered.
