Expression of Interest - Oceania support staff

Athletics New Zealand is excited to be sending a full team of U18, Para and senior athletes to the 2024 Oceania Area Championships (OAC). In order to appropriately support this team, we are seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified candidates to fill a variety of roles. 

The  OAC is a user pays competition, however athletes make a contribution to cover the travel, accommodation and food costs for team management. However, these are volunteer roles, with no remuneration available, and incidental costs may additionally be incurred by volunteers. 

 Note; Team management opportunities, (with the exclusion of physiotherapist roles) are only available to individuals who hold one of the following memberships;

• Athletics NZ Accredited Coach

• Athletics NZ Community Volunteer Member

Coaches will be expected to assist with overall team management function, and should note that value will be placed on your ability to connect with athletes and provide relevant assistance without compromising the directions of their personal coach.
