UPDATE - Due to disappointing numbers, we have had to make the touch call and cancel the PV section of this camp. &nbsp;We apologise for any inconvenience that this might have caused.&nbsp;It is with great excitement to announce that Athletics New Zealand is offering an incredible opportunity to attend a throws development camp post NZSSAA in Christchurch on the 11th and 12th of December.This 1.5 day camp will focus on Throws events (led by Hayden Hall) &nbsp;and will be predominantly held at Nga Puna Wai starting at 9am Monday and concluding 1pm the following day.Athletes 15 years or older, coaches, parents, teachers and anyone who is interested in learning more about these events and what it takes to be a High-Performance athlete is welcome to register. We do have a limit with registrations so will be accepted on a first in best dressed approach. &nbsp;Due to athletes competing over the weekend at the NZSSAA and knowing some athletes will be tired, this 1.5 day camp will include both practical and educational workshops, functional and event specific movement sessions, a very special guest speaker plus a fun group activity which will give athletes and coaches a chance to connect outside of the track environment.&nbsp;The cost for ALL to attend this camp is $100 which includes lunch and dinner on the Monday, access to all facilities and equipment usage, entry into all workshops and presentations, plus entry to the fun activity on the Monday night. &nbsp;All participants will be responsible for all transport and accommodation for the duration on the camp.&nbsp;Applications close 30th November.
