SALT: Positive Parenting (Corio)

Built on the premise that sport is about life, life is not about sport, SALT's Positive Parenting Program addresses the notion that many children form too much of their identities around their sporting talents and achievements, rather than the character strengths and the values they demonstrate.

This program challenges parents/guardians to see that sport is an opportunity to set their kids up for life successes and are encouraged to help their children value their strengths such as courage, discipline, teamwork, good decision-making, good communication, and sacrifice. In this session, parents are provided with tools to prepare their children to be strong, caring, capable, and successful adults.

The program will be delivered in a short, 60 minute format. BYO refreshments.

Location: Corio Little Athletics Centre

Duration: 5.00pm – 6.00pm

Cost: There is no cost to participate in this SALT program.

Registrations Close: Friday 7 November at 11.59pm, unless capacity reached prior.
