Seaford LAC Track & Field Open Day - Sunday 2nd March 2025

Venue: Athletics Track, Riviera Park, Eel Race Road, Seaford, VIC (Melway Ref 97 F10)

Entries : There is a maximum 4 events for all age groups and event numbers are capped, so please register early to avoid disappointment. 
$8.00 per event or 4 events for $30.00 per athlete.  A Game Day processing fee will apply at time of payment.
*Financial Members of Seaford LAC will be supplied with a Discount Code for their free entry.

All athletes must complete registration and select events before the closing date.

Closing Date: Strictly Sunday 23rd February 2025 at 8.00pm.  Late Entries will not be entertained.

Age Group Progression: There are no progressions. 

Event Times:  Roughly 8:00am to 3:00pm. Once final numbers are known, a timetable will be released and emailed to all registered athletes.

**Corresponding Multi Class events are included. Please contact the club to advise you are a multi class athlete so we can accommodate your requirements.

General Information

Conditions: No Late Entries or Late Changes will be accepted. No refunds will be processed. Once an entry is submitted, it's final. No protests will be entered into. The decision of the Competition Director or Open Day Manager is final. 

Seaford LAC reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to extreme weather conditions.

Competition: Competition will be conducted in accordance with LAVIC Competition Regulations as stands on competition day. 

Uniform: Centre or Club Uniform. (Including Commonwealth Bank Race Bib and Coles Patch)

Spikes: Cone/Conical Spikes (Max 7mm) may be worn in accordance with LAVIC rule 143 section footwear and shoes as per LAVIC rules and regulations. 

Starting Blocks: May be used in laned track events up to 400m by U11 – U17 Age groups. Only blocks supplied by Seaford LAC may be used.

Marshalling: Athletes are required to marshal 15 minutes prior to their event start time.  Track events will Marshall at the start of the Straight Track.  Field events will Marshall at each Event station.

Clash of Events: Should an athlete believe; their events will clash they should notify the Chief Official of both events. Track events take precedence over Field events.  If the athlete then has to leave the field event, the athlete shall go to the track event and then resume at the field event as soon as the track event is finalised.

All track events are timed finals: If large numbers for one age group are entered into field events Seaford Little Athletics will split the field event into smaller groups to assist keeping the event flowing in a timely manner.  The results from split groups will be collated together after all athletes have finished the event and the result will be combined for one result per age group.  

Medals: Medals for first 3 placegetters of finals.  Medal engraving will be available on the day. Ribbons are provided to all non-medal competitors in each event. 

Catering: We have full canteen facilities and a BBQ operating, including our Cake Stall. We do have a tap and go facility available.

Minimum Fields: The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel or combine age groups in events with less than three (3) competitors.
