All athletes must familiarise themselves with these rules before submitting their entry. Eligibility You must be a club registered athlete for the current 2023-2024 season. Grades Age as at 31st December 2024 U16 athletes aged 14 & 15 U18 athletes aged 16 & 17 U20 athletes aged 18 & 19 Senior athletes aged 20 and over Please note the following: U16 athletes aged 15 as at 31 December 2024, may choose to compete up in U18 but must choose one age grade per event. For example, you may compete in U16 Triple Jump or U18 Triple Jump.
U18 athletes aged 16 or 17 as at 31 December 2024, may choose to compete in U18 and/or U20 per event. U20 athletes aged 18 or 19 as at 31 December 2024, may choose to compete in U20 and/or Senior per event. Entry Standards To view the entry standards click here. Entry standards should have been performed in the 2023-2024 season. However, for athletes who have not competed extensively due to injury or other reasons, a standard from the 2022-2023 season will be considered. Additionally, Athletics New Zealand will consider dispensations to these standards in certain circumstances. Para Athletes

The events you may enter for your Sport Class must be on the attached grid. You are only permitted to enter events that you are eligible for. As an example, if you are an F40 athlete and you enter the 100m, you will not be allowed to run. If you have questions regarding para athlete entry please email competitions@athletics.org.nz

All pricing includes processing fees Club Names & Codes When asked for your club name (Team Name for Meet Manager) and club code (Team Code for Meet Manager) please copy exactly as listed here: Clubs Centres Shoes U18, U20 and Senior athletes: competition shoes need to comply with World Athletics regulations under Technical Rule 5. Please be sure to check that your shoes are on the approved list. You can check on the World Athletics website here. This list is updated regularly. Please note that any shoes bought before 1 January 2016 are deemed to meet the requirements of Technical Rule 5.
