A non-accredited offering, the Introduction to Starting program will teach participants about the start process and how it is conducted in Little Athletics environments, with a particular emphasis on Centre level.
The program will be delivered in a short, two-hour format, and is ideal for those who may be asked to assist in week-to-week competition, and/or committee members looking to expand their knowledge of conducting track and field events in a modified, Little Athletics environment.

Participants will attend a face-to-face training day where they will be taken through a site walkaround and a walk-through of the starting process as it is conducted at Little Athletics Victoria.

Duration: 10.00am – 12.00noon (Unless otherwise stated)
Cost: There is no cost to participate in an Introduction to Starting training session.
Registrations Close: Wednesday prior to the course 11.59pm unless capacity reached prior.
Registration Limit: Each training day is limited to the first 15 registrations, or 30 where a second facilitator can be arranged.
The minimum age is 16 at the time of delivery, or 18 where a Centre uses a cap-gun.
